On October 24, 1998, 17-year-old Danny Violette ran away from his home in Willard, Ohio. Eleven days later, his body was discovered in a cornfield on the outskirts of town. Though the autopsy revealed disturbing details, a ligature mark around his neck and tire tread across his torso, Danny’s case remains unsolved more than 25 years later. Now, his family is determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

Danny Violette was a fun-loving, lifelong extremist. The popular 17-year-old was a friend to many, and a star of his high school wrestling team. He had loads of potential and a dream to compete in the State Championship, but sadly he never got the chance. His family would be the first to tell you that Danny was far from perfect, but despite his flaws, he had a good heart and was loved dearly. More than 25 years after his passing, his family, friends, and people who didn’t even know him continue to search for answers to his untimely death.
